The photographs in this book bring with them rich memories of a past that is almost gone, and details of an everyday life that was simple and yet profound – a life now obscured by the passage of time, but which brings alive a people and a past recalled with fondness.

This book marks a transgression from the content and style of my two previous collections which dealt with the richness, variety and beauty of the landscape of the Dingle Peninsula.
 
But the same logic and principles apply, whether photographing inside or out.
